Diefon designs, builds and operates the technical systems businesses depend on. We combine cloud engineering, software development and service management, because in practice they are one system seen from three sides.
Origin
Diefon started in Montabaur as a web and software studio for regional businesses. That work taught us something consultancies often skip: systems have to work for people who do not care about the technology behind them.
Today
Today Diefon is a technology consulting and engineering company focused on Microsoft Azure platforms, custom software and ITSM and service management, working with mid-sized companies and enterprises in the DACH region and through delivery partners.
Tomorrow
We are building Diefon as a company of practices: cloud, software, service management and consulting, each with its own standards and senior people, all under one engineering culture. Small now, structured for scale.

A system that cannot be run by the team that owns it is not finished. We design for the people who will be on call.

We choose well-supported, well-understood tools and spend the novelty budget where it creates value.

Everything as code
Infrastructure, pipelines, configuration, documentation. If it is not in a repository, it does not exist.

Decisions in writing
Architecture decisions are recorded with context, options and consequences, so the next engineer understands why.

Small, reversible steps
We ship increments that run in production and can be undone. Big-bang go-lives are a last resort.

Evidence over opinion
We measure before we recommend and say what we do not know. We do not claim expertise, references or certifications we cannot show.
